Hola es solo la pintura o lo.mezcla con algo mas
is it possible to use two different shades of limewash? like if i wanted more depth and dimension could i use two different shades of grey? alternating at some point? or would it be better to just start with a medium grey base color on the wall and just limewash over that with a darker color?
Yes you can layer up the Limewash - better to use 2 different colour limewashes
Hello! I'm really enjoying your tutorials and loving the studio wall colors and finish. Can you tell me the colors and technique you used to achieve such a gorgeous look? Thanks
Thank you, the colour used here is Seaweed form our paint range - the technique is above it is called dark down technique
hey. what are the walls of the actual studio you are in is that juat plasterd wall?
also I have a concrete effect paint on a feature wall. so it has texture on the wall. can I limewash directly onto this if I wanted to keep the wall concrete texture or must I prime over it first and then limewash over the primer? thank you
The walls in our studio are old historic walls, not painted -you can paint our most walls to get a textured wall
What color is this? It's beautiful.
Seaweed
Hi Would I need two coats of Primer over a painted plaster board wall? Thanks
Yes you do
Hi, is this lime coat over a primed surface?
Yes, it is over 2 coats of a undercoat Sealer for drywall or gyprock
Hi if my walls are already painted white do i still need primer?
It depends on the type of wall you are painting, if it is drywall and it has ben correctly primed with 2 coats of a good quality undercoat sealer, then you can paint directly onto it or over our Prep Coat
I need this on my house, what would you recommend to seal it to protect it from normal household use?
We don't usually recommend sealing as it changes the finish . Matt top coat can be used for high traffic areas
hi! Can I put Limewash paint directly to a primed concrete wall ? If yes, should I wet first the surface before applying? And does this has to be sealed after?
If the concrete is primed no need to use water first - no need to seal after
@@bauwerkcolour Ok thanks! That will not be chalky though?
@@abigailtayao1306 is the paint you are painting over gloss, or email us for full specs sales@bauwerkcolour.com
@@bauwerkcolour The wall was semi gloss painted already
Hi i'm looking to create a staging wall just like this using your limewash product. Can I lime wash plywood?
Yes you can, 1. if you wish to see the look or the pattern of the Ply, then paint direct onto the Ply 1-2 coats. 2. If you don't wish to see the Pattern of the Ply then use 1 coat first of our Bauwerk Prep Coat. 3. f your Ply has putty or repairs or jointing compounds . 2 coats of a primer, then 1 coat Prep Coat then 2 coats Limewash
@@bauwerkcolour Thank you!
Do you need a specific type of paint or is this a technique?
This is Bauwerk Limewash, so yes -you need to use this paint
What color is used in this video? Pinewood? Tumble?
Seaweed
Can I ask how do create the large canvas?
Paint direct onto canvas

@@amitsinghal4730 Hi - are you painting the wall with Bauwerk Limewash - if you would like to email us we can assist sales@bauwerkcolour.com
@@bauwerkcolour Your website is down. How can I purchase your paint?
Why not do complete vertical top to bottom pass and then move across left to right, thus avoiding the entire middle lap mark
You can try that, I guess you have to make sure the line in the middle is not too obvious when the whole wall is finished, as it works best to work wet on wet
We want the lap mark, that's what gives it texture
I know it also helps to paint barefoot. That’s how I roll when painting🤣
Haha we all fans of bare feet here !!!
You don’t even know what you’re doing…….just use a broom….it’s half the effort and you can not have a stupid looking overlap
